Why does it suddenly ask to block any content on any website?

The extension is amazing at localizing the mega website and everything related to it (better than the mega sync app anyway), but unless the devs will explain why a new permission enabling the extension to "block any content on any website" I am visiting, I am disabling it.

does one thing: it opens Mega websites in a special, extension-based tab for security. Now it wants to block content on any website? No thank you.

New permission wanted, not explained anywhere why. Disabled extension for safety for now.

New extension update asks for permission to "Block content on any page" - I have disabled this plugin until they explain why they require this permission and what its use will be.

7 June 2024 this extension asks me to accept a permission "Block content on any page" - why ANY? - isn't it supposed to be scoped around MEGA. I have to remove or disable the extension unless it's clarified as to WHY? I mean I have AD blockers that access ANY page, but they're clear in what they do, whereas MEGA has left me confused.

Hi. Why the extension asks a permssion "Block content on any page"? Can it interfere with ad blockers?

MEGA is cool, but I have absolutely no idea what this extension is supposed to do. It just opens the website. Is it just supposed to be a bookmark?

cant recover deleted file, please help. and please must have option download serial wise one by one option. download system is ridiculous. please solve this asap

Suddenly stopped working. Mega links open like any page on the browser, and i have to manually use an old link with the extension, and modify it with the link I'm trying to get to in order to be able to use the extensions and therefore use the desktop app to download files

Image thumbnails don't show up in Mega Chat when using this extension. Disabling it, and simply using the website version and suddenly image thumbnails are showing up perfectly fine in the chats I have with people. Please fix this, as it makes the extension useless to me.

Forced to download. Tried to force me to buy a subscription when my file was partially downloaded. Absolute trash.

mega has always been good i been on mega since day 1 when they 1st started so and forced to download WRONG forced to BUY WRONG just some people don't like deferent softwire so i back mega 100% to all the haters keep hatting

This extension causes Google Analytics to be unusable in your browser where this extension is installed. Both Chrome and Edge have the same issue.

Can't download large files! Don't waste your time with this.

new / old user here and satisfied with everything.Desctop app and mobile apk works exelent ,and even with PC machine 10+ years old app works exelent becouse it is not consuming RAM and CPU .Mobile is Samsung with 3 GB RAM and run on android 13.

Going on almost 2 years now and I won't use anything else.
